MARTEC - We know about UK noise and vibration, building acoustics, hand arm & whole body vibration and occupational hearing loss. UK Standards with which we are familiar, include BS.4142 for industry, MPG11 for quarries, landfills and open sites, PPG24 for planning, BS.6472 for human response to vibration in buildings, BS.7385 for building damage assessment, The Building Regulations Approved Document E for sound insulation tests. The list is endless! If our studies show that you have a noise or vibration problem in the UK we can make appropriate recommendations for improvements.
The Company was formed in 1973, to provide a specialist consultancy service for a wide range of applications,
acting within both public and private sectors, for large companies and for
the private individual.
No application is too large or too small. Larger projects cover major
developments such as mineral extraction, wind farms, waste disposal sites
and Ministry of Defence training areas.
MARTEC employ experts, who are able to undertake
"on-site" investigations and surveys, preparation and issue of
technical reports, claims preparation and provision of expert evidence in
