Saint Laurence's Church |

Saint Laurence's is a church with a rich history dating back to the eleventh century. It's the oldest building in Slough, and was once the Parish Church of Upton, a village mentioned in the Domesday Book. The church contains the tomb of William Herschel, the astronomer who discovered Uranus.
As well as being an ancient building, Saint Laurence's is also a modern Christian Community. A small, but friendly, congregation enjoys joyful worship and genuine fellowship. All age groups take an active part in services - a fact which is particularly true of the Family Service.
