Rick is acknowledged as the Worlds
leading authority on Acupressure Points and their relationship to the Martial Arts.
With over 30 years continuous training
behind him, Rick has impeccable credentials within the Martial Arts. He has won over 25
Major Heavyweight Championship titles and has gained considerable experience in Real
Combat from his work on the Door and training Military Personell.
As Co- Founder of the DSI with Grand
Master Tom Muncy Rick has been responsible for training over 350 Black Belts. The DSI
currently has a Membership of over 9000 students from all over the World.
Rick has made over 50 videos on the
subject of Pressure Point Fighting and Kata Bunkai and has co-written two books (The DSI
Torite Jutsu Reference Manual and the Torite Jutsu 50 Core Technique Analysis).
Ricks instruction is sought all over
the World ~ he conducts some 150 Seminars a year and is in constant demand for repeat
Seminars everywhere he goes. Ricks advice and intricate knowledge of Kata Bunkai is sought
by Associations and Senior Instructors worldwide.
Russell is well known within the Martial Arts fraternity for his approach to Kata Bunkai
and the usage of pressure points in self defence. He conducts over 30 Seminars a year on
the subject in the UK and has been invited to teach in Spain and Italy this year.
Russell is the first and the only Certified DSI Instructor in
Europe. His Instruction has been sought all over the UK and also Spain; Italy; Germany and
France.
Russell has made two videos on Kata Bunkai that have been
sold Internationally and is in the process of making two more videos and writing a book on
Pressure Point Kata Bunkai.
