This will vary depending on the participants, but the main
topics will include:
We will also cover the common misconceptions surrounding Kata
Bunkai / applications. By applying the science mentioned above we can better utilise the
knowledge that we already possess.
We will demonstrate and the attendees will use and apply all
the above sciences throughout the seminar. It is a true hands on seminar.
Seminar attendees health and safety is of paramount importance,
it is with this in mind that "Any attendee using undue excess force on their training
partner will be asked to leave". The techniques and science shown is extremely
dangerous and should be treated accordingly.
You will not need to go above 1-3% of your available power on
any of the techniques we show in orderto make them work very effectively. Most of the
techniques will be shown to work at much less power!

These seminars are designed to incorporate the principles learnt from an Introductory Seminar into a coherent learning process to enable the attendee to analyse Kata effectively.
Various Bunkai will be shown for all moves in the Kata to be broken down and analysed. More importantly the principles upon which the Bunkai is made will be shown and explained.
These Seminars are designed to make the attendee think of Bunkai, analyse the Kata being shown and other moves in other Kata within their system.
Bunkai will be shown at three levels;
This means, that effective and usable Bunkai will be shown for most moves in the Kata as a defence against the above three types of attack.
These Seminars can best be thought of as a stepping stone to the Advanced Seminars with Grand Master Rick Moneymaker.
