The Mannered Mob is the 18th Century Re-enactment Group that portrays
civillian life between 1730 and 1760. We represent all levels of society
from high to low, and our membership consists of both men and women
who are primarily interested in civilian rather than military life in
the mid 18th century.
We specialise in recreating high quality recreations of civilian
life, from full households to farm labourers as well as civilians
linked to a military camp, and can also portray many different period
trades, professions, skills and crafts.
The Mannered Mob organises events to the event sponsors requirements
that are as wide and varied as the period we portray, ranging from
High class Society to the vagabonds and vagrants of city slums.
At an event the roles undertaken by members of the Mannered Mob are
governed by each events venue, scenario and the accommodation available
to us. We therefore pride ourselves on our adaptability and no two
events are ever exactly alike.
