Flirting With Disaster USA, 1996, 93 mins. Patricia Arquette and Tea Leoni are the women driving neurotic thirty-something Ben Stiller to distraction as he comes to terms with being a dad and hits the road in search of the mother and father who gave him away for adoption. It's not just the presence of George Segal. Mary Tyler Moore and Alan Alda that gives this frenetic road movie a Seventies feel, but the farcical plot twists - including a couple of gay FBI agents - are as disconcerting as they are funny. |
