Qualifying

It was very wet. I had trouble getting a clear lap in as there was a lot of traffic. I didnt want to ruin a lap by making space knowing that we would only get 6 or 7 laps in. Ended up 9th which I was very pleased with.

Final Saturday 16th

It was postponed until Sunday morning because of heavy rain. An eventful and unhappy race in which I seemed to upset a few people. Off the start Paul McMillan got a flyer from behind me so I kept to the inside of the track. He came up the inside of me off the track and nearing the corner I moved over to let him back on. In doing so had contact with Sheehan which put me back onto McMillan leaving me in the middle of a nice Peugeot sandwich rubbing from both sides taking out my mirrors. Paul McMillan spun across in front being collected by Sheehan which sent him flying off the track.
The race was red flagged for another reason and on the restart this time going into the first corner collected Gordon Macmillan who came through on the inside taking us both off. I made it back onto the track and was now chasing Gareth Wright. A close race for a lap or so until he lost control coming out of the Esses and in avoiding him I had contact with Matt Potter who went off. All in all a shitty race finishing 15th after starting 9th.

Fnal Sunday 17th

Grid positions were the same as yesterdays . On the start I took a different line letting Paul McMillan get away from me having more power. As Gordon Macmillan came by he gave a gentle tap to let me know he was there. We had some close racing , dicing about with Matt Potter just behind. They both stopped for reasons unknown and this left me clear . But I was soon being chased by Daniel Neil who I could see coming up quickly. Exiting the Esses I missed a gear letting him by easily. Next I could see Hilary Howlett coming up and he soon got past on the straight having more power or better exiting speed . Last lap last corner he missed a gear allowing me to get beside him over the finish line thinking I had beat him. But the results showed him in front so I ended up 15th again
