Qualifying.
It was very wet and oily. Seems to be one of my advantages when it is wet. Anyway it went well in my session but the ‘B’ session was drier so they did quicker times. Clerk of the course made the grids up from championship positions for safety reasons which didn’t please a lot of people.
Anyway it meant I was 10th on the grid.

Saturday final

Had a reasonable start and was running about 9th. Got a bit carried away on the 2nd or 3rd lap and spun off the track in front of the pit lane. Rejoined at the rear and had to start making my way back through. Ended up getting nudged off by another yellow Fiesta and had to make up some more places again ending up 21st.

Sunday final

Grid positions were made up from Saturdays quickest times meaning I was 14th.
Another average start with an incident on the 1st corner holding up Glen Stokes who was in front of me allowing me through.
Thorndyke was behind and Burgess in front. Had a good 1st half of the race keeping with Burgess but missed 3rd gear a couple of times losing time and a couple of places.
The handling didn’t seem as good in the 2nd half so it still seems we have work to do.
Ended up 12th.
