To enter the League your club will need to draw it's players from within the old County of Avon boundaries. Applications are accepted from clubs affiliated to both the Somerset and Gloucestershire County Associations. You will need to demonstrate that your club has a sound financial and organisational background and it will be essential that your officers, coaches etc. are prepared to sign on to and adhere to the guidelines set out in the League's Child Protection Policy. Applications are invited each season and must be received by the League General Secretary, in writing, by 1st May for consideration for membership in the next playing season. To obtain the postal address of the General Secretary please send an E-mail which includes the details of your club and the full contact name and postal address including postcode. It would also be helpful if you could indicate the age group/s that you wish to apply to join. New clubs joining at age groups above under 13 would usually be entered in the lowest division. Clubs at under 12 division may be seeded in accordance with their league position in the Hanham Minor League.
