The Avon Youth League have actively supported an initiative led by the Avon & Somerset Police Child Protection Team under the Child-Safe banner in conjunction with ACHE (action on child exploitation). This culminated in the launch of a Training and Information Pack which received national coverage in the media with David Niven, Chief Executive of ACHE and Paul Tompkins, Chairman and Child Protection Officer, being interviewed live on national radio.
