EVENTS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS

Our Mission Prayer

Father in Heaven we rely on You in all things, For we are powerless without You. We offer you our Mission. May it be a time of healing and renewal.

May your Light shine upon us all.  May we receive your blessings and know that they come from You.  May we become Your apostles and witness to the world that Your kindness is infinite, Your forgiveness unending, for Your love for us has no bounds.  May we allow You to enter our lives more fully and may we share the joy of knowing You with all around us.  Amen.

 Hampshire Centre (now Castlepoint)

Fr Tony attended a meeting with the developers last Friday.  They are producing schemes for drainage and landscaping and car-parking in the church grounds.  They were sympathetic to Fr Tony’s concerns about suitable and secure boundary fencing during the building and road works, and permanently, after that.  They will take care to maintain full access during the road works.  Work on the main site is due top begin in early October, (subject to contract) It is intended that the area beside the church to the east (where Brendon Close used to be) will be a clean and tidy public car park during the construction works.  This depends on planning permission.
