Snodland Town |
There are pictures of the pre-1884 house and of the 1884-1930 house in Snodland Historical Society's photograph collection. Quite a few postcards were made of the house c.1910-1930 and we have one or two of the Lee and Roberts family members and visitors. The house is also shown on various maps. I have a copy of Blue Circle's recent survey of the area which shows the site at various times and also lists which past features are at present visible. Much of this material is currently on display at the Millennium Museum, Waghorn Road (open 2-5p.m. on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays). I myself am usually there at least on the Sunday and will be glad to show you what we have. (The display on Holborough is scheduled to be put in store shortly to make way for a display commemorating the 70th anniversary of Holmesdale School, but the material should still be available to see on request.)
