StageResearch SFX

This software has been specially developed for total control of sound playback in a live theatrical environment.

It provides the features that CD players and mini discs can't provide and allows the creation of complex multichannel effects and soundscapes. In addition, with a DMX interface, it allows basic control of a lighting rig.

By installing SFX on a laptop based computer system with a multichannel sound card, MIDI and DMX interfaces I can produce:

• Simultaneous playback of up to 8 independent sound effect or music channels.
• MIDI Sequence playback to control external keyboards/synthesisers etc. 
• Lighting or effects controled via DMX
• Sound and Lighting effects triggered by an external MIDI keyboard or Synthesiser.

In addition I can provide a sound system comprised of:

• 14 channel mixer (14:4:2)
• 6 channels of audio amplification (up to 300 watts per channel)
• 4 channels of digital effects (delay, reverb etc)
• 2 pairs of speakers for music and effects
