So here we are, out of the yellow number and into a black PVC holter neck with patent black thigh boots. But once again finding it difficult not to sink.
Nearly over the tops of my boots again. Because these are a tighter fit  than the waders, the preasure of the mud on my legs is different but non the less presurable.

It may look like I had my eyes shut on this one but the fact is the sun was straight in my face. How ever you are probably not looking at my face but my thighs as they slowly sink into the mud.
One thing I would like to point out, and that is, my legs are not tucked underneath me. Nor is this a manufactured sinking hole like some do but it is real quicksand. I think that if you are going to do some thing make it as authentic as you can, and believe me it does not come more real than this.

This pic was taken a fraction of a second after the previous one. I was trying to hold the pose when the mud behind me just gave way swallowing my supporting arm, hence the look of surprise.
Time to try and pull my self out of this. I wish I had audio tape at this point because the noises the mud makes as you try and pull yourself out against the suction of the mud is out of this world.

Some times you have to lift your self out part way, then twist around and try to crawl out.
Failing all else you have to push your hand into the mud grab hold of your leg and pull for all your worth.

OK so I only have one booted leg out, time for a breather, I think I have earned it...........
