The recipe for the world renowned:
'Gill Stone's Bread Puddin'':

- 3/4 Brown loaf
- 1 Packet of dried fruit
- 2 oz Chopped dates
- 4 oz Soft margarine
- 2 Tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 Tablespoons marmalade
- 4 Heaped tablespoons brown flour
- 3 Teaspoons mixed spices
- 2 Eggs.
Instructions:
- Grease a large, deep baking tin (about 1.5 inches high)
- Soak the bread in a large mixing bowl
- Squeeze most of the water from the bread but leave moist
- Add the rest of the ingredients
- Mix well
- Tip the mixture into the baking tin and smooth the top
- Score the top with a fork
- Sprinkle with sugar
- Bake at 165 degrees for about 2 hours
- Remove from the oven and
