The first is an AfterStep Wharfable app which monitors your modem and flashes when your phone rings.
The second is an MD titling program for Linux which, when used in conjunction with an IR transmitter, titles MiniDiscs on Sony Decks. I'll put the link up to the wiring diagram for the transmitter just as soon as I remember it!
