Hello again fans/voyeurs/friends/relatives/ total strangers who found this accidentally/ others,

First of all, thank you for visiting my site. As of today I have had a total of 45 visits (at least half by me) and three emails from this site. Apologies if I haven't replied yet, but I've been overwhelmed. I've listed the site with the major search engines (try searching for "Bob's Postcards from London" at AltaVista for example) but I'm yet to be swamped by the response. I was thinking of changing my page heading to "Pamela Anderson", but I don't know that it would attract the right sort of people (eg beautiful single women).

Regular visitors will notice that I've improved the main page so that you can now read the text without special glasses or squinting. It took me days to figure out how to convert the gold-lettering from MS Word word-art to my Web Page, via MS Paint and some photo editing software. I hope that it's worthwhile. Nothing is ever simple.

Are you able to "see" those annoying 3-D Magic Eye images that require you to slightly unfocus your eyes? (The ones where 3 year old kids can see the 3-D dinosaur but you can't). Well, if you look at the grass background I've used on my "Bob's English Cricket Adventures" Page in the same way, it becomes 3-D!!! Let me know if you can "see" the effect or if I've frustrated the hell out of you and wasted ten minutes of your precious time...

I've had a few people comment that they envy my current life of leisure (and cricket), but there is no need to be jealous as I'm currently watching Rolf Harris on TV, and I had the local version of Lollie Gobble Bliss Bombs for dinner. It has rained every day for the past fortnight; it's supposed to be summer but was down to three degrees last night; & my cricket matches for Sat, Sun & Mon have all been cancelled due to rain. So far I've seen the coldest winter this century, the wettest April in 175 years and the coldest start to "summer" in living memory. Lucky me....

Anyway, I miss you all (except for the total strangers who accidentally found this page) and I'll catch you soon,

Bob
