A simple sketch, directly on to the pad, using a mapping pen and sepia ink. The problem lay in as to whether I should complete the drawing or would it be better to stop at some point and leave the rest to the imagination of the viewer? My solution lies above!
A suggestion. When trying to portray a building such as the one above, I think it is a good idea to eliminate the surroundings entirely, unless they contribute to the sketch.
Original sized 12" x 8" on fine quality cartridge paper.
