2 - 6 - 2  Tank Engine (LMS Railway)

A simple pencil sketch of one of the workhorses of the railway. Powerful engines such as these are used for a variety of purposes, such as shunting etc, around the marshalling yards and sometimes for longer journeys, being capable of quite high speeds, combined with great pulling power.

The original is about 12" x 8" drawn on fine grained cartridge paper, using B,2B 4B and 6B graphite pencil.
