Black Five

A simple emotive pencil sketch of a popular 4-6-0 steam locomotive, known to the railway buffs as a "Black Five", pulling a passenger train across a viaduct in Cumberland. Nothing special about the drawing - just a challenge is all.  Having been apprenticed on the railway as a boy, one gets a feel for these things, I suppose.

Sketch size about 18" x 12" Soft carbon pencil on hard paper.  Fixed to avoid smudging.
