Since starting in 1994 the Festival has grown and grown so we have to limit the number of Morris sides to about 20 each year.  

The Potty Festival starts with on the Friday night, meeting in the local pubs the musicians congregate to practice (well that's what they call it).  This year there is also a beer festival in the Lobster marquee, in addition to their three bars.

14th Annual Potty Morris Dance Festival

Saturday 7th July 2007
Saturday morning starts with a procession through the town, with sides being divided between various dancing venues around the town, and finishing off with massed dancing in the Main Arena on Lifeboat Plain.


Sunday 8th July
Although Sunday is more informal the same street closures will be in force, so the dance venues will be similar to Sat with dancing until you have to go home, or until the beer festival has been drunk dry!
