HEST BANK DELIGHTS! - Where Rail Meets
Sea - 2001 and 2002
This DVD twin-set lasts just
over two hours with excellent film quality and stereo sound. It
features nine different locations at Hest Bank, which over the
years used to be an extremely popular place to watch the then busy

pressed to see the trains from many of these locations because of
the erection of high steel picket fences.
It features a magnificent array
of motive power, with a continuous procession of trains and plenty
of traction action with many unusual workings. Footage includes a
wide selection of 87s, 90s and 86s hauling inter-city expresses,
86s and HSTs on XCs, plenty of freights (mgrs, freightliners, log
train, acid tanks, china clay, engineers etc) and postal services
with 20s on flasks and acid tanks and many railtours. A variety of
track machines can also be seen.
