OTHERWORLD & TIP RECORDS @ The Fridge

This was a party that when I saw the flyer, I knew that I shouldn't miss it!

I didn't catch much of the first set, Dimitri (tip), but the crowed seem up for it from the point I walked in! Wicked! As I got into dancing, which didn't take long, Riktam & Bansi (GMS) started there set. This had me all over the place, the lighting was hectic and dark, so was the music, everyone seemed as though this was what they wanted and loved.

So did I. I was a bit confused 8o) at this point because all of Growling Mad Scientists classics were being played, I thought that maybe this was because the PA wasn't going to happen, but it did!

Growling mad scientists played one of the best live sets I've heard for a while, one hour of new unrealised music, (so that was why all there tunes I knew were played in a DJ set).

The place was going wild; the music was full on, I had forgot parties could still be this good at the fridge. I could not leave the dance floor!

Last up was Tristan (twisted). I thought he may have played some break-trance because of his connection with 21:3 records, but thankfully he didn't (I like to listen to break-trance, I just don't think it goes down well on the trance floor). He completely finished us of, there was no morning music, and it stayed hectic & full on right to last tune! He played a couple of my best tunes of the twisted, dementertainment CD. Wicked! I was quite shocked I was still able to stand after the party had finished, and that my brain still was able to let me talk, just! Wicked party, the fridge needs more!

BLUE ROOM @ Imperial Gardens

I been to the last few Blue Room parties, but the last just didn't kick off for me, so when I heard Dino was playing I was up for going. When I got there the dance floor was empty, there was a DJ playing more chill out than trance, so I went of for a drink & a chuff. By the time I went back to the main room, about 1:00am, things were starting of; Dino was on the decks! From here on things were on the up, he was playing to his normal high standard and things were warming, nice. 8o) After an hour or so I found out Dino would play all the way to end, which put a huge smile on my face. 8o) He played all the way though the trance spectrum, playing energetic full on, twisted, funky, morning, trance dance grovers. He showed me once again why he is one of the masters! But the party still needed some thing else to turn it from a good one to an incredible one, maybe more people, I'm not sure?

But I will go and check it out again in the future.
