International Dental Mission Partner Support
CDF is not a sending agency but contributes to the support of the members of the fellowship working in overseas situations.
It encourages the membership both to support international dental work as well as making members aware of the opportunities of serving the Lord overseas - both on a short term and long term basis.
Tim and Lorna Cudmore, Annie, Alice, Tom - Zambia
Problems of AIDS - Kitwe and Ndola probably have the highest HIV/AIDS infection rates in the world.
Dental service sparse and limited materials and equipment.
Involved in preparing and teaching local church leaders.
Possible move in 2000 to Namibia overseeing work of SIM in Namibia, Zambia and Angola.
Prayer requested for the family.
Desmond and Elaine Tham - with the Mercy Ship, Anastasis
Currently involved in mission in Thailand, then moving to Malaysia for three week outreach. This will include dental relief work.
Please pray for unity amongst the team members, that cultural and language difficulties may be overcome and for protection from spiritual and physical opposition.
Rob & Tricia Munday, Joni - Argentina
Joni doing 'A' levels in UK. Tricia (midwife) now accompanies Rob to villages and together provide health care.
Economy very poor to detriment of health services.
Andy and Eira Patching, Lee-Anne, Jade, Melanie - Zambia
Mainly involved in Bible teaching. Possibility of Jonathan Longhurst and Peter Chilvers going out to help.
Experiencing blessing in the church.
Tracey and Mike Walmsley - Nepal
After language and orientation training they have now moved out to Jumla in the far west.
Colin and Ruth Flanagan
Please pray as they go to India to work with Emmanuel Hospitals.
Mark and Helen Laing, Callum
Mark is studying for an MA at London Bible College. Hopes to return to India to become more involved in Bible teaching.
Maggie Leonard
Working with Medair in south Sudan assessing dental needs. Would like to become involved in training nurses in basic dental pain relief.
