For some people the demands of training can be too much. Not all of us find it easy to devote the time and energy necessary to train our dog. It is often the first stages of training that can be the hardest. We can help you with this by having the dog stay with us for two weeks. The foundations of training are built up in this time so as to make the work easier and more enjoyable for you and your dog. During the dogs stay with us, he will be treated as one of ours, working and developing his basic obedience skills. At the end of the training you will see the dogs training program and be taught the commands. You will also need to attend a private consultation which is free of charge, one week after the dog has been picked up.

Private Lessons 

For fast and effective results with the training of your dog, one to one training is by far the most effective. Our instructors can give you their undivided attention and help you with many problems that just cannot be achieved in a class environment. The lessons are held in the week between May & August and on the weekend between September and April. The lesson will last for half an hour and can be made by appointment.                                                                           

Half hour session £10.00

Many of the problems that can cause great concern, occur in the home. By coming to the location of the problem we can see the dog in it's own environment and assess the correct training format. Barking, destructive behavior, separation anxiety, toilet training and jumping up on visitors are just a few examples of the type of problems that can be treated at you home. Normally it is only necessary to visit the home once, any further consultation can be done at the dog training center.

1 hour consultation from £40.00 (subject to distance)

These weekly classes are for puppies from 15 weeks to 6 months old. There are generally 12 to 16  puppies in each group all the training is done by the positive reinforcement system. Great care is taken to ensure that the puppies are socialized and associate training as a fun and happy experience. The class is a 10 week course and held on a Tuesday evening. Each lesson last for three quarters of an hour with 15 mins for questions.   

As with the puppy classes, there are generally 12 to 16 dogs in each group. The class is held on a Tuesday and Wednesday evening and runs for 1 hour weekly for 10 weeks. Any dog will qualify for this as long as they are over 6 months old. Once a course has been completed you can then work your way up through the groups, depending what you require from your dog.
