April Competing
The pictures above and below show April and I doing a 20 mile pleasure ride in June '99.
Part of the route went along Hunstanton beach, Norfolk.
We went far too fast, completing it in 1 hour 50 minutes, which is over 10 mph! The same distance at competitive standard should be completed at an average of 6.5 - 8 mph!
The following picture shows April and I competing in a Bronze Buckle Qualifier in August '99.
It was 20 miles, and boy it was hot! We did it in 7.5 mph, and passed the vetting. Once again we went too fast and I ended up getting off and walking the last part.
You can see that she's going in a much better outline in this pic than in those above due to the change of bit.
