Joanne: Michelle Warden

Joanne was first seen in the 1990 series of Byker Grove and appeared in episode 1 of the 1992 series. Joanne lived in the Gallagher's foster home and was best friends with Spuggie. Her dream was to be united with her family, and thanks to Fraser, she was united with her american father and half-brother. Joanne found it difficult to adapt to life in America, but learned to manage after guidance off Spuggie and half-brother Bill Paul.
