Lou Gallagher: Anne Orwin

 

Warm-hearted Lou first appeared in the 1990 series as Speedy's foster mother. Since 1990 Lou has seen many children through her foster home, children that would have ended up without much hope for the future if it wasn't for her support, guidance, love and discipline.

Recent residents of her foster home include Terry, Jack, Harry and Ben.
