The remains of the rifle range, with the frames and brackets - which formed part of the mechanism for lifting the targets - still there, quietly rusting away....
Strictly speaking, this rifle-range is not part of the aerodrome infrastructure, as it predates it, and - as it appears on a 1930's map of the area - might even originate from the First World War.
