The shore, before complete landscaping had arrived (It was once more 'industrial' than this!) The mound on the left is where the old coastguard look-out was, and was once connected to a wooden walkway, which was extremely dangerous as all the planks were rotten and there were sharp, rusty metal protrusions everywhere. Naturally, we kids all used to play on it!
