South Africa, being a newly-developed democracy, has many valuable lessons to offer and our programme offers the youth a unique, poignant and exhilarating three weeks, culminating in a visit to Robben Island. There are however a few things to consider: although many regions are comparable with the developed first world, there are vast areas that are undergoing processes of renewal and development. Therefore extra care has been taken to ensure the safety of the participants. We believe that we have taken more than the necessary steps to offer this developmental experience in a safe and secure environment. These are some of the measures we have taken:

Parallel Parent Tour

Parents are also encouraged to visit South Africa on a parallel, yet separate tour of the country. They will be able to join the camp on Sundays, which will be open for religious services and parent visits.
