Roads and Drainage

We undertake the design of roads and drainage for small domestic projects and estate roads of any size. Details can be drawn up for adoptable standards, if required. That is where a road is to be adopted by the Local Authority under a Section 38 agreement. We can also deal with applications for the adoption of Foul drainage and Storm Water drainage systems under a Section 104 agreement. We are able to undertake the design of Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) enabling the potential impact of new and existing developments with respect to surface water drainage discharges to be reduced.

Housing Development at Lower School, Kingsbridge for Barratt

The redevelopment of Lower School, Kingsbridge into 64 new houses for Barratt Homes involved a Section 38 agreement which was achieved even with the difficulties of a steep gradient on the site. A Section 104 agreement was obtained through the use of attenuation tanks to achieve an acceptable discharge rate into the mains sewer.
