Wrapped up "The House of the Desolate" today. I hope you guys enjoy this one.

The basic deal with this map is small and fast. This is prolly a max 3 - 4 player map. I designed it to accommodate 1 on 1 for such things as Clan try-outs etc or competition finals... Also for all those out there who have small peer to peer networks (Like me and my girlfriend) who want a small, pretty, and fast map that they can just jump into and fight, rather than spending 30 mins trying to find each other :)

I'm fairly happy with the overall outcome... Take a look:

                               

                               

 

Potential bad issues:

Sorry to those with lesser Graphics cards, you may experience a slight jolt when approaching the portal in the underground armor room. This is due to the engine having to suddenly deal with lots more polys (the view out of the portal). I'm sorry, there's not a great deal I can do about this without changing where the portal looks out to, which would ruin the map flow. I don't get this jolt with my Assus TNT2... The guy that pointed it out has some Voodoo card :) heh...

If it bothers enough people I'll re-do it for you with a plain teleporter instead of a portal. See I'm a nice guy :)

For single player: I'd advise 2 bots for fast and furious play. I play with Xero and Keel.
