Wednesday 9/02/00:

Planetquake have kindly offered to host my humble site and so I've made a few changes... So far there is a new portfolio section, and more will arrive shortly. The only other news is that a while ago I got selected to work on the Rocket Arena 3 mod. I will hopefully be posting info and screens on that here shortly. Thats all for the moment... I gotta keep working on the RA3 :)

Sunday 23/01/00:

Ok So I finished my CTF map today... I haven't had a chance to test it properly because my net connection isn't fast enough to host a game. I designed this CTF map specifically for clan confrontations etc... real serious army versus army kinda thing. I envisage a more Team Fortress style of play would suit this map. There are two distinct bases each with one large main entrance and a proper battleground between. The flag rooms are large with positions / places developed for certain players styles (There are sniping platforms and positions to cover the entrances etc). With enough people it should be sweet. I also didn't develop it with bot play in mind and so for this release I will not include a single player AAS file especially because it is so untested. So basically I'd appreciate it if you would treat this release as a kind of beta release, then I'll be happy to change to map to suit the needs of the masses :)

So head on over to the Malcath section to Download it. Have fun!

Also, seeing as things are quite quiet over here at the Lethargy camp I'd be happy to help people out with any mods / projects that you guys maybe working on...

Woah! 1000 hits in around 4 hours... Fantastic! I hope you guys enjoyed "The House of the Desolate" as much as I enjoyed making it :) I know that I screwed up big-time on the initial release... it turns out that the door texture that I choose wasn't included in id's original pak file, but it had been shipped with Qeradiant instead... So those of you who don't map didn't have the door texture... I'm truly sorry :) but the situation has now been rectified. Thanks to Pappy-R at PQ for pointing that one out.

I've sorted the page out a little more now, each map now has its own page, which can be selected from the side frame. I've put some screenshots of "The Malevolent Cathedral" up under the "Malcath" section, so go check those out.

As Malcath is nearly done, I have decided to do a conversion of a great Q1 map to Q3. I know you all remember Hipdm1 from ritual's "The Scourge of Armagon"... (They were Hipnotic back then). Well I should have it Q3-erised shortly. I haven't actually asked Richard yet (Levelord) but I'll prolly see him on irc soon. I'm pretty sure it was his! :) His or Paradox's... heh... Anyway theres no doubt that I had the best Q1 Deathmatches ever on that map, so its definitely worth bringing back.

Other news: I've decided to re-post some of the old Lethargy stuff back on this page... Like our Q1 mission pack for "The Scourge of Armagon"... I should get that up soon. Or maybe even some of my old doom or Duke 3d maps... heh... but we'll see.

Ok so I finally got round to starting some q3a stuff. I just slammed this page together in 10 mins as I don't think it'd be appropriate to put it up on the Lethargy Site: http://www.planetquake.com/lethargy
