British Standard 7370: Part 1: 1991 - Recommendations for
establishing and managing grounds maintenance organisations and for design considerations
related to maintenance.
BS7370:Part 1:1991 is a guide produced and published by the British
Standards Institute. It gives general recommendations for establishing and managing
grounds maintenance organisations of various sizes and also provides guidance on design
considerations that lead to reasonable technical & cost parameters in the subsequent
maintenance.
Other BS7370 standards:- Part 2, Maintenance of hard areas. Part 3,
Recommendations for maintenance of amenity and functional turf (other than sports turf).
Part 4, Maintenance of soft landscape (other than amenity turf). Part 5, Maintenance of
water areas.
