British Standard 8206: Part 2: 1992 -  Code of Practice for Daylighting.

BS8206:Part 2:1992 is a guide produced and published by the British Standards Institute. It offers recommendations regarding desirable levels of sunlight and daylight for buildings. It is intended for use by site planners who need to consider the quantity of light reaching rooms, gardens etc. The standard contains a means of calculating levels of sunlight and daylight and for determining the path of the sun for a given point on a site plan, at 4 different latitudes within the UK. Acceptable limits of daylight and sunlight are included.
