Buildings Near Trees - Chapter 4.2

NHBC Chapter 4.2 is a guide produced and published by the National House Building Council. It is intended for use by architects and construction companies involved with the actual planning and construction of new buildings near trees; it offers information regarding foundation design and recommendations for foundation depths located on shrinkable soils. Although this document has limited direct use for the arboriculturist, it is a publication that he/she should be aware of.
