Southwark Playhouse was set up with the aim of providing quality professional theatre to the widest range of people in Southwark and beyond.

Our excellent studio theatre continually attracts directors, writers and actors of a high calibre. Productions are regularly reviewed in the national press as well as Time Out and Whats On.

We present three in-house productions a year - currently one new play, one piece with integral music and one piece for children. We work continually with local primary and secondary schools on music based projects and GCSE and Shakespeare workshops.
