Use the calendar and time boxes to specify when this task is due, you may optionally choose to set a warning some days, hours and minutes before this task is due. no specific action is taken when the waring time is passed, but the colour the job is displayed on the main window will start to change from the normal job colour to the warning job colour. In the 'Task Description' box, enter a description of the event.
Next choose an action for the task, this can either be an alarm where a popup window will be displayed at the expiry time, a timer which will simply provide a countdown to the event, or the task can be set to execute. If the latter case is chosen exactly what is in the task description window will be handed to the system and executed. Warning - all output from this job will be lost if you do not keep log files yourself.
