Aren't dinosaurs great! How I wish I had more time to read and read and read....I was six years old when a supply teacher told me that if I was sitting in a rowing boat by the shoreline and a Tyrannosaurus Rex swished his tail at me, the boat would be smashed to pieces! So, be careful what stupendous things you tell 6-year olds, that was me hooked on dinosaurs for life.... I am already under strict instructions to bring my roaring brachiosaurus along with me whenever I visit my Niece (above).
By the way, I asked my niece why she thought the dinosaurs became extinct. She replied (without hesitation) "because they ate some snow and there was a fly in it!" She then changed her mind and said "No, it was because they ate a bogie and poo-poo pie!" Obviously scholars are still divided over this issue....
