I agree w/ Marian's POV on this one.
Furthermore, it is apparent that this sad fellow was just one confused individual who was looking for answers.
He stumbled upon the realisation that no "god" has been proven to exist, he was angered @ xians, thus he became an unthinking & unbelieving atheist.
Unfortunately, I've met a lot of atheists who believe that they are atheists, just because there's no proof of this, that, & the other thing.
The point behind any belief (theistic, nontheistic, or agnostic) is that belief itself must be present.
I mean, I myself am agnostic in the manner that I admit I do not, will not, and cannot know if such a "god" exists, but I am an atheist, because I feel that theism is merely a sick joke, that wanting, believing in, & creating a "god" is just a poor attempt by desperate & depressed folks to believe that there's another & better life out there.
To me, theism is a person's way to say "Screw Earth! I'd rather deal w/ the stars & the heavens!"
This sorry man has seemingly succumbed to such fears, for his intelligence (instead of working overtime) collapsed, & apparently, he never believed in atheism in the first place.
Atheism was once a reasonable solution for his lazy brain & heart; now xianity takes that place.
So, will he teeter totter back again?
I hope not.
Atheists do not need such ignorant folk.
