: Probably the most infamous atheist-to-Christian conversion is William J. Murray, Madalyn Murray O'Hair's son, who was the plaintiff in the (in)famous 1963 school prayer case.

: He's a busy little Christian beaver:

(Prembone) Indeed. I love his answer for everything evil: "The atheists did it." His mother, brother, and daughter were murdered by the atheists. The fake FCC petition is being circulated by the atheists, to make Christians look foolish. His mother wasn't just an atheist leader, "She was an evil person who led many to hell."

I especially love the contention that his mother fed lots of junk food to his daughter "to make her unattractive to men." Hello? I thought that all those Good Christian Men were more concerned with character than with fleeting and fading beauty? ;-)

Anyway, this is ad hominem at its lamest. Madalyn Murray O'Hair may, indeed, have been a rather unbalanced human being, but it doesn't necessarily follow that this was the result of her atheism, still less that it was the work of "demons." I've seen devout Christian nutters who would make MMOH look quite dull in comparison. Maybe they were demon-influenced, too. ;-)

How stupid. People who are a bit bent will be that way regardless of what belief or nonbelief they embrace.

I wonder why Christian propagandists don't hold up, say, Isaac Asimov, when they want to rant about "the evil effects of atheism." Maybe because Asimov was an exemplary, respectable intellectual? ;-)
