Three Fugitives

As reviewed by Miguel Coldsundaymorning Kesey

Nick Nolte and Martin Short are back! Although they weren't anywhere... Yes, that's right, the ho-ho comedy duo pair up again (err...) in this HILARIOUS film about bank robbery and child abduction. Ha ha ha, fuckers, ha ha ha!

No, seriously, I remember this film being a lot funnier when I was younger. Nick Nolte plays an ex-con who's just become an ex (ie. just been released from jail) who'd served his time for bank robbery. He goes to a bank to get money and the bank is held up by bumbling thief, Martin Short. He takes Nolte as his hostage and ends up shooting him in the leg and so on...so the duo head off on the run...

For a while, you wonder why this film is called Three Fugitives until Martin's little daughter is introduced...she's hardly a fugitive though, she's not frickin' Richard Kimble...

But anyway, they get into hilarious (or so they say) comic capers, involving...well, nothing much really...

Nick Nolte feels the need to put on some sort of husky man-voice because he has womanly blonde hair.

But, all in all, quite disappointing for the star of "Innerspace" and "Three Amigos".
