BANDS I LIKE
I would say my musical taste is incredibly varied, but I'd be lying...most of the bands I like play the same sort of music...here we have :
MANIC STREET PREACHERS
The Manics are my favourite band of all time. Today, they play as a threepiece due to their guitarist/lyricist Richey disappearing in 1995; but despite their music becoming a bit too FM-friendly for my liking, they're still the greatest band in the entire world.
PLACEBO
Cock-in-a-frock, what more can you ask for? They're becoming a bit annoying now. Brian does my head in sometimes, but I still like them.
MARILYN MANSON
There seems to be an increase in the amount of arseholes liking these guys now, which is annoying me...and, sadly enough, is putting me off the band...I still love them, but, just for now...I've liked them for ages, and I feel so betrayed.
RACHEL STAMP
Why oh why oh why aren't they signed to a major label yet?! I await their musical explosion into mainstream with great frustration...
IDLEWILD
They're getting quite big these days, I've noticed. Despite the crappiest album colour of all time, Idlewild are an absolutely amazing band...and they're Scottish! Yay!!! And we can't get tickets for them EVER...boo.
GARBAGE
Lovely band with a Scottish singer...the amount of times I've seen this band live is getting ridiculous, but they seem to get better and better...although Shirley is getting uglier and uglier...that's age for you.
DEFTONES
It's pretty difficult to like a band who shout "Shove it" at you, but you have to when you realise how good they are...although, Max Cavalera shouting "Soulfly" throughout "Headup" can really get on your nerves. Max, be quiet and drive...(far away).
TURA SATANA
What?! Split up?! BASTARDS! I like(d) this band...but I'm not really a fan of Tairrie's new band, My Ruin (despite the fact it's just Tura Satana with more women)...it's all really similar I think...and she ripped off a Carnage Candy song.
RADIOHEAD
Yes, that's right, everyone loves "Fake Plastic Trees" from "The Bends". Is there actually anyone who DOESN'T think it's the best song on there?

Now, come on...they're a Beatles for this generation. Only not as shit. I don't agree with a lot of Kurt's policies though...oh, well...whatever...nevermind.

Don't they make you want to have big hair? I love the Cure, although everyone else I know hates them!
NINE INCH NAILS
New album's out soon, and the single was great...Starfuckers!!! Yay!!! Come on, Trent, let's blow this joint...or something.
THE SMASHING PUMPKINS
Oh, joy...just as we get Jimmy Chamberlin back, D'arcy walks out...clever girl...I hope their new album's good...I actually got really into Adore, even though to begin with I hated it...I love the old stuff though.

Ok, hands up who sounds like Kurt Cobain on PCP? Their lyrics are all the same, but a lovely band nevertheless.
ORGY
So, how does it feel to listen to 80s Brit-Synth in the late 90s? Pretty cool actually. I love this band...they seem like a breath of fresh air amongst all the Korn clones.

I was going to put these people in the last time, but I'd gone off them... Despite the fact that Dave Grohl (or DAVID as he'd now like to be known) makes up words and isn't very good at writing lyrics, I still like a lot of their songs...OK?!

Yeah, yeah, easy-listening piano pish you cry...OK, their new album isn't THAT good, so give me my money back, you bitch...Come on, "Whatever And Ever Amen" was friggin' cool!

Rico is as cool as a big freezer in the north pole...I love his album, and he looks like Jeff Goldblum! He's great.
PITCHSHIFTER
These guys are the most interesting band I've seen in a long time...a bit like Orgy meets Manic Street Preachers...very political, and very electronic...but also, very funkin' fantastic...
