"Aww...let's put on Death Wish 4 after this!" said Juan...I was quite contented with the Tom Selleck masterpiece : "Her Alibi", but, no, Juan had to go back to his b-movie roots, and Death Wish IV it was...
It started out quite scary, with some woman in a car and these guys appearing... up until the point at which one of the guys was really small compared to the others, and we all laughed...(well...not all of us, it was 7:00 AM, and me, Fletch and Juan had been up all night watching this sort of shit).
Then Murphy appears with a big leather coat and shoots people, but apparently, it's a dream. We knew it was too good to be true...
What happens in the film though, is Murphy is asked by some old guy with scary hair to kill lots of drug dealers because one of his countless other daughters dies of mayonnaise overdose, so he has to hunt all the mayo suppliers down...
And he does so, but this time with a huge arsenal of guns and bombs...he even bugs a phone...and we wondered how, after he'd killed everyone, he got the bugs back...
At one point he has to drag a dead person away, and it makes him look like he has big arms.
Also, when Billy Dee Williams comes to shoot him, asking : "What the fuck are you doing?!" Murphy retorts : "Making a sandwich...". Oh, such wit from a little Mexican. We wonder if there was mayonnaise on that sandwich, Murphy.
Unfortunately, Murphy lives once again...but we missed the end because we were all falling asleep...going : "Hurry up and fucking finish!!!"
