Scrooged

Bah, humbug! It's Bill Murray!! Yay! Can he go wrong? Naw! In this film, Bill plays Frank Kross, a vice-president (or something like that) in a large TV company, IBC, and he's a mean motherfudgerer. He doesn't like Christmas, doesn't like people, and doesn't like charity.
So, during the season of goodwill, IBC are putting on a live TV broadcast of "Charles Dickens' immortal classic : 'Scrooge'"...even though the book was called "A Christmas Carol"...who's Carol? Damn her. Anyway, Frank is running the show.
However, one night he is visited by his ex-boss (who happens to be dead), and he tells him he's going to be visited by three ghosts...the ghost of Christmas Past, the ghost of Christmas Presents, and the ghost of Christmas Dinner...
So, blah blah, you know the story... After being visited by all three ghosts he sees where he's gone wrong and changes his ways...
However, much like Bill's other classic, "Groundhog Day", he was much funnier and actually more likeable BEFORE he became a nice person. We want to hear Bill complain about "America's favourite old fart", and yelling things like : "If you TOUCH me again...I'm gonna rip your goddamn wings off."
Anyway, fantastic film...the end spoils it however, because you just want to smash his face in and strap a proton pack on him. But look out for some brilliant acting from the ghost of Christmas Present, and Rick Moranis as one of the people Billyboy is mean to.
Put a little love in your heart...
Naw, Bill...we came, we saw, we kicked its ass...
