Sid & Nancy

Oh, yeah...this is a lot of shite, man! Ok, I'm being too harsh, I've seen a lot worse than this pile of shit, but never has anything been so badly acted...the only thing relatively interesting about this film was the subject matter.
I bought this film (stupidly enough) hoping I'd get a relatively decent story about Sid Vicious and Nancy Spungen, and hopefully, if it's not too much to ask, some Sex Pistols stuff...however, what I was greeted with was a lot of media-written publicity garbage that probably never even happened...I find it hard to believe they were such fucking arseholes.
Gary Oldman plays a shite Sid, but a good Dracula, and Chloe Webb was good in Twins and Heart Condition (what is it she has about small balding men? Danny DeVito and Bob Hoskins...hmmm), but, come on....Nancy?! Courtney Love played herself and Kurt Cobain wasn't in it. And whoever played Johnny Rotten deserved a fucking kick up the arse. I also hated Malcolm McLaren in the movie...goddamn, was this bad.
It still kept me watching, however...I've seen films that've made me switch off, but this kept me there...although, I think partly it had something to do with the fact I wanted to see how shit the next scene would be.
Right, well, that's enough slagging...after all that, I thought the film was alright. It had some interesting bits, but generally, the acting let it down...like a big balloon.
