OFSTED Report - (June 2008)
The school has justly received a very successful Ofsted report and has been judged as ‘outstanding’ or ‘good’ in all areas.
Nine judgements were rated as ‘outstanding’ with the remainder all being ‘good’.
Particularly pleasing is that the area of ‘Personal development and well being of all pupils’ was judged as ‘Outstanding’, as was the behaviour of the children. This is a significant acknowledgement demonstrating how important the care and welfare of every child is to us.
The school was also found to be outstanding of ‘Quality of provision’ and ‘Leadership and management’.

The school has now purchased its own mini-bus. This will give the school more opportunities to visit many more places, and enable us to keep the cost of school outings to a real minimum for parents.
St. Katherine's is a large primary school with over 460 pupils, aged 3 to 11. The character of the school is one of warmth and friendliness.
We are very proud of our detached Nursery located on our site which opened in January 2006 as well as all the other wonderful facilities including the indoor swimming pool.
The school is situated within extensively landscaped grounds, and we are very proud of the superb, modern, purpose built facilities that we are able to offer.
