Hot water, shaver and power point in gents and power point in ladies are free, SHOWERS are on 10 pence meters. Water standpipes and drains for disposing of washing water etc. adjacent to each pitch. Central point for disposal of chemical toilet contents is a maximum of 50 yards from any pitch. All Electric Hook-Up pitches include a Television Point, T.V. Leads available on free loan. SITUATED in Mawgan Porth, mid way between Newquay and Padstow on the North Cornish Coast. Offering a central base for trips to anywhere in Cornwall, as seen from our Location Map (Home Page Menu). On the other hand, if you prefer to stay put, you are a 300 yard level walk to the beach, which offers safe bathing and surfing under lifeguard supervision, rock pools and fine sand for just lazing around. FACILITIES within 350 Yards:- Sandy Beach, Pitch and Putt, Crazy Golf, Tennis Court. 4 shops, supplying provisions, newsagents, gifts, beach goods, surfboard and wetsuit hire. Garage with repair service also supplier of Calor Gas, Public House with a good selection of beers and food, two Restaurants, Fish & Chip take away. WITHIN EASY REACH Fishing (beach, rock, course), GOLF:- Merlin Driving Range and 18 hole medium length (no handicap certificate required )(1mile). Trevose Golf and Country Club, 18 and 9 hole (long) plus 9 hole short courses, Newquay 18 hole course (both 5 miles). If walking from Magic ove, easy access to Cornwall’s coastal footpath or a visit to St Mawgan Village is just 2 miles inland by footpath or road, with it’s Church, Village Green, and The Falcon Inn for liquid refreshment. (Ask for details). FRIENDLY SERVICE, we have been resident in Mawgan Porth for over 40 years, and will be happy to give any information you require, all you have to do is ask. Our friendly Butcher calls on the site, he will provide you with best quality meat and Bar-B-Q specials. On many occasions it's been said that Magic Cove is the friendliest site people have visited. DOGS must be kept on a lead at all times on site, they can be exercised without restriction on 3 acres of land above and adjoining the site. BICYCLES must not be ridden on the site, also Football, Cricket and other Ball Games should not be played in the interest of safety, and annoyance to other caravanners and campers. HOW TO FIND US. Take the A30, 4 Miles from End of BODMIN By-Pass. pass under Iron railway bridge, First right (half a mile) at filter (A3059) sign (Newquay Airport). Next Roundabout 2nd. Left (Newquay). Right 400 yards past Filling Station. Continue to T junction past Airport, Right (Mawgan Porth) keep straight on to Mawgan Porth.
