The Cagney 4-4-0, with a more modest formation but including the enclosed coach, which, at off peak times, runs as a self-propelled battery electric railcar.

Another view of the five Atlantics gathered at Central Station. The Lister was used to manoeuvre Billy in and out of the museum road and rests between such duties.

As noted above, the Lister had a daily turn, moving Billy out of the museum for display on the station avoiding line.   John and Joan were paired for most of the weekend; here they approach Central Station's entrance on Bank Holiday Monday, 26th May.

Also on display but not yet capable of being steamed were 105, Michael with 102 Railway Queen on the right. At present there are several detail differences between these two Albion Class 4-4-2s.   John, seen on the Sunday morning and in an almost timeless scene whilst working a train of empty coaching stock formed of six traditional de-luxe carriages.

Popular with many transport enthusiasts was this ex Crosville Bristol VR open top bus operating official shuttle journeys to and from the railway on Saturday. It remains in semi-preserved use as no. 3992 with local operator (and successor to Crosville), Arriva Cymru.   A final line up of locomotives, this time with Cagney 44 in place for comparison and representing 15" gauge motive power from a generation before Albert Barnes produced his wonderful fleet of six Albion Class Atlantics, all of which have survived.
